Patient Access Improvement Manager Band 8C

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Access Improvement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing patient access services, ensuring operational excellence, and leading transformational change within the organisation.

 

Location: Guildford 

Job Type: Temporary 

Duration of booking: Expected to last 6 months with possible extension

Proposed start date: ASAP

Pay Rates: Between £40 - £43 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay

Hours / Working Days: 37.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm 

Sector: Healthcare 

Based: Office / Hospital 

 

Key requirements for the role include:

  1. Strength in Operational Governance: Overseeing processes to effectively assure service safety.
  2. Improvement and Service Turnaround Experience: Proven track record in enhancing and turning around services.
  3. Workforce and Team Development: Promoting skills and development in operational settings.
  4. Strong Data Engagement and Understanding: Ability to engage with and understand data effectively.
  5. Improvement of Patient Access Services: Experience in reviewing and implementing changes to improve patient access services.
  6. Expert Knowledge of Outpatient Services and Operational Delivery: Experience in reviewing, proposing, and reforming outpatient services.
  7. Expertise in Digital Services: Knowledge of digital services (specifically Cerner), software, and provision within patient access, with a focus on improving digital knowledge and proactively utilising digital systems.
  8. Leadership and Change Management: Ability to lead and manage change effectively, inspiring and guiding teams through transitions
  9. Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with patient access regulations in terms of meeting the organisations constitutional targets and compliance requirements to ensure services meet all necessary standards.
