Speech and Language Therapist - Community Neuro Rehab

Description:

You will be joining an experienced and highly motivated team in Croydon. Pay rate ranging between £200-£220 per day. (9 hour shift)

The SLT we are looking for will previously have worked with adults as a post graduate therapist.

They will be encouraging, supportive, and understanding of the varied patient needs they may encounter. The right candidate must also have exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with patients.

• SLT – F2F Dom visits.  Will manage own diary and bookings, will be Stroke, ABI, Parkinsons, MND and MS patients. 
• To be experience in dysphagia and aphasia and motor speech disorders. 
• Community 4 patients per day

9-hour days

Working Hours:

·       Start time – 08:30

·       End time 17:00

·       1 hour lunch unpaid each day

Requirements:

• Community experience 
• Band 7 preferable but will consider Band 6 with the right experience

• A HCPC approved degree in Speech and Language Therapy

• Right to Work in the UK

• Valid HCPC registration

• Dysphagia Training and Competencies completed.

• NQP (Newly Qualified Practitioner) competencies completed.

• Post graduate experience working with dysphagia patients.
