Follow Christie as she takes the reader on a journey through real life as a nurse and the challenges, emotions, unforgettable moments and incredible people she experiences throughout her career.

How can you win?

We’re looking for inspirational stories from your nursing/midwifery career so far. This competition is open to both experienced Nurses, Student Nurses, Midwives and Healthcare Assistants, so anyone can enter*!

We would like you to write a short story from your nursing career or nursing training. It can be happy, sad, funny or scary; whatever you want to share!

There are a few rules to keep in mind before you start writing your story:

• It must be at least 300 words
• It must include an important lesson for newly qualified or trainee nurses
• It must be true to your own experience

The winning story will be published on our blog and shared with an audience of thousands of healthcare professionals around the world! The winning writer will also receive a free copy of ‘The Language of Kindness’ by Christie Watson.
