As part of our regular charity work, the team at Your World put on their aprons and rolled up their sleeves for a very tasty Valentine’s Day Bake Sale. All proceeds of our bake sale went straight to Great Ormond Street Hospital, our first chosen charity of 2017.
The day was a huge success with some delicious looking cakes, biscuits, muffins and cupcakes up for grabs to everyone in Broadgate Tower (where our Head Office is based). We’re thrilled to announce that, by simply baking a few sweet treats, we were able to raise £346.38 for GOSH, which we know will be funding a fantastic cause for sick children all over the country.
Our bake sale was coordinated by the Your World Social Committee, who worked hard to make sure that every last morsel was sold in record time! Social Committee member, Tamara Murray, said:
‘I am so proud that the newly appointed Social Team really came together to make our first charity event of 2017 a success. The funds will do great things for Great Ormond Street Hospital.’
