What is the Kickstart Scheme?
The government introduced KickStart to support 18 – 24 years old currently on Universal Credit, creating 6-month job placements for young people at risk of long-term unemployment.
This is a paid job placement and will support the participants in gaining essential skills to find work on completion of the scheme.
All placements are created solely for the Kickstart Scheme.
The program is for a maximum of 26 weeks; however, there is the possibility of a permanent role once the scheme has been completed.
To apply for a place on the program, you must contact your work coach at your designated Job Centre. They can give you all the details of the Your World Recruitment Program and refer you to the official DWS process.
