Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday hours worked from 6am to 8pm: £12.82 paye including holiday per hour
Monday to Friday hours worked from 8pm to 6am and Saturdays: £16.50 paye inclusive of holiday pay
Sunday: £20.50 paye inclusive of holiday pay
Bank Holiday: £20.50 paye inclusive of holiday pay
Access NI: Access NI Enhanced Disclosure is required.

Job Summary
The post holder will be responsible for providing an efficient and high-quality porter service at Trust Headquarters (HQ).
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the collection, sorting and delivery of all incoming mail to the appropriate Departments throughout Trust HQ on a daily basis.
- To ensure that external mail is categorised, processed and ready for collection each day, maintaining address lists and labels as appropriate.
- To be responsible for the receipt and distribution of office supplies throughout Trust HQ and for the maintenance of a stationary cupboard.
- To oversee the maintenance of the key safe within Trust HQ ensuring emergency exit doors are secured at all times.
- To assist with fire compliance including ensuring that Trust HQ entrance, exit and means of escape in the event of a fire are kept clear at all times.
- To undertake weekly fire checks in accordance with relevant legislation and assist with the testing of fire alarms throughout Trust HQ.
- To be responsible for ensuring external areas of Trust HQ ie entrance, pathways and car park are kept clear and tidy at all times including during inclement weather.
- To undertake the safe movement of furniture and equipment within Trust HQ in accordance with the relevant Trust policies and procedures.
- To undertake reception duties as and when required which include; Meeting and greeting service users and visitors to Trust Headquarters in a friendly and welcoming manner, notify the appropriate individual and monitor the signing in/out books.
- To act as an initial point of contact and deal with telephone enquiries and requests from external agencies, service users and other members of staff in a professional and sensitive manner, communicating messages where necessary, without delay to the appropriate individual.
- To undertake routine clerical duties such as restocking of paper and print cartridges for multi-functional devices, photocopying etc as and when required.
- To be responsible for the collection of confidential waste throughout Trust HQ.
- In the absence of domestic staff, undertake general cleaning duties including the cleanup of minor spills and breakages.
- To be responsible for minor maintenance repairs throughout Trust HQ as and when required.
- To notify Estates Department of repairs to Trust HQ, liaising with contractors as and when required.
- To carry out courier duties including the collection and delivery of mail items and catering orders for Trust HQ as and when required.
