£12.82-£13.85 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour

All of the rates are depending on skill and experience.

Working Days and Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours between 9am to 5pm

Job Summary

  • The post holder will provide administrative support primarily to the Project Manager, Benefits & Transformation Manager and to members of the Digital Health Team as part of the overall delivery of the Trust’s Digital Health Strategy.
  • This is a very exciting and varied role which will require the post-holder to be proactive, dynamic and tenacious and will provide an excellent insight into project management for the deployment of an enterprise-wide solution and transformational change.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including but not limited to the preparation of meeting papers (agenda/ minutes), provide supporting papers and take follow up actions or chase action owners including booking rooms/ venues
  • Complete project tasks such as the maintenance and management of project documentation, such as risks and issues and Project templates and standards
  • Attends various meetings with senior stakeholders as required by the Manager
  • Assist in the production of routine and ad hoc project progress/ highlight reports
  • Assist the overall implementation programme which will also comprise of floor- walking and helpdesk duties
  • Effective persuasive and negotiating skills will be necessary to ensure actions are completed in a timely manner
  • Receive highly complex information and bespoke messages to suit the needs of the stakeholders via various media and traditional platforms
  • Empathic and the ability to relate the staff and various stakeholders from an emotional perspective
  • The post holder will need to establish an excellent relationship with other members of the Digital Health directorate and the Trust as a whole
  • Be able to facilitate events
  • Expert in social media etiquette and be able to adjust own communication style/ language for the audience and media platform
  • Good knowledge on the application of tools, techniques and skills required to complete administrative tasks and activities
  • Experience of working independently, making autonomous decisions without any supervision
  • Eye for detail and high level of accuracy
  • Some experience of managing conflicting demands from the various points and being able to prioritise
  • Be able to analyse complex information and compare facts to make informed decisions
  • Be able to assess others perspective when managing negative, passive and aggressive behaviour via social media and also face to face
  • Prioritise conflicting demands whilst planning and organising a number of activities and tasks
  • Participate in training and educational activities and actively manage own professional development
  • Maintain own professional updating/awareness for project planning, control methods and techniques along with standards, procedures, software tools and operating system facilities used in everyday work
  • The post entails the need for standard keyboard skills
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and local policies for the departments/ specialities/ divisions being supported
  • Engage and communicate to the Trust required changes to policies/procedures affected by the and make recommendations for amendment or for creation of new policies and procedures
  • The development of statistical reports requiring formulae, for example use of Excel
  • Taking accurate formal minutes and actions
  • Proofreading
  • Work within the set parameters of the objectives of the Digital Health Projects and the overall Digital Health Strategy
