Job Title: Kitchen Assistant  

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Duration of booking: 2 weeks with the possibility of extension

Pay Rates: £12.82ph PAYE Inclusive of Holiday Pay  

Working Days and Hours:  Monday: 07.30 – 14.30, 30 minute break followed by 15:00 – 19:00  Tuesday – Friday: 07:30 – 14:30

Job Summary:  To be responsible for helping keeping the smooth running of the patients to provide the best possible food for people eating meals at the hospital.

Day to day duties: 

• Dealing with breakfast service 
• Preparing the area with cereal/juice/milk etc 
• Serving sandwiches/cold desserts & jacket pots/hot/cold drinks
• Lunch
• Preparing the area with pre-packed sandwiches, cold deserts and other food
• Helping with supper (Monday’s only)
• Preparing the area with hot food/cold desserts/drinks 
• Making sure food is properly heated
